The article reports that after the enactment of these decrees, the libraries in Cluj delivered an insufficient number of volumes authored by Jews. Booksellers were asked how these decrees affected their business. Some stated they did not have many books authored by Jews in the first place, while others said they did not know about the majority of writers who fell into this category, and some businesses found themselves on the verge of bankruptcy because of these decrees.
