Descriere
The representative of the Ministry of Finance in Cluj provides information about the properties seized from the Jews. He mentions that 1300 homes have been temporarily allocated to bombing victims. Some of these homes were acquired unfairly, since some people demanded more homes than they needed, and then also appropriated the valuables left behind by the Jews before their deportation. The article mentions that these people will be punished because they have illegally acquired parts of the national wealth.
The individuals dwelling in these homes will be expected to take good care of the possessions left in them by the Jews, so that they can be returned in good condition.
These homes will be redistributed in accordance with the petitioners’ wealth. Wealthy tenants will be allocated the homes seized from the rich Jews, while the homes of the poor Jews will be distributed to the less financially able.
