Erzsébet's letter to her fiancé, Pál Lusztig, dated 25 June 1944

On 25 June 1944, Erzsébet wrote her fiancé, Pál Lusztig, who was interned in the forced labour camp of Szentkirályszabadja (Hungary), about the hardships she had to endure on a daily basis. Left alone in the house in Cluj where she had previousy lived with Pál, Erzsébet tells him about the repeated attempts of her family and loved ones to persuade her to move to the country with them. Her decision, however, was to stay behind in Cluj, by herself, in order to continue her correspondence with Pál.
